Kako se čini, MO kategorija će biti uvrštena u IARU R1 VHF i UHF natjecanja u rujnu i listopadu ove godine. Gotovo svi nacionalni manageri su za vraćanje MO kategorije, osim RSGB VHF managera:

Hi Jacques
In Spain, except for the prohibition of the health authorities, there is no problem in multi-operator stations

Hello Jacques,
The abolition of the MO category in September and October IARU R1 contests is unnecessary and detrimental to our hobby. Such decisions should be made by local authorities in accordance with the situation in the country.

Good Morning
In Slovenia, in national organised contests, only in Subregional 2 (May) VHF/UHF/SHF contest MO sections weren't accepted. This was done according by government declared pandemia. In IARU 50/70 MHz contest (at that time by gov declared pandemia was not any more in power) we followed IARU R1 guidance and that was easy while usually in Slovenia there is no MO team in that contest.
At this moment for us it would be difficult to explain why MO teams can't participate in the contest. To my best knowledge MO teams are composed by well known participants, they know each other very well. I guess that MO teams are by number of HAMs not extremely big teams and I guess that they can implement all necessary measures to avoid unwanted health issues.
Kind regards
Miha, S51FB

p.s.:
- to my best knowledge at recent DARC WAE HF contest MO category was not excluded

In Denmark the VUSHF-comittee followed the advise by IARU and banned all MO contests back in March. There was quite some criticism from amateurs at that point, but we defended the decision by the lack of knowledge about the virus, the need for caution in such a situation and the reccomendation from IARU. We lifted the ban on May 11, when the national restrictions on gatherings were lifted. We will allow MO contests as long as the rules and advice by the national health authorities make it possible.

Jacques,
I do not think you are helping by listening to the loud voices in the contests forums. Your assessment of the situation is wrong!
Unfortunately a survey of contest participants will only show what those who are very keen on contests want. This is not representative of the correct direction for VHF amateur radio in IARU R1.
Remember the C5 contest working group is only a sub-committee of C5. They must be bound by the wider opinion of C5 VHF managers and subsequently by IARU R1 EC.
I have a serious problem with IARU R1 taking any position whereby amateurs belonging to any member society cannot participate in that contest activity due to legislative rules in their own country. This is about the perception of amateur radio, NOT what a contest oriented minority in some countries might want.
Therefore as RSGB VHF Manager I very strongly object to the inclusion of a Multi Operator section in the September and October IARU R1 Contests. No disclaimers of detailed rules for people to work around are acceptable. I want a total ban on the multi-operator class in the September and October VHF/UHF contests.
If the C5 contest sub-committee should decide otherwise I insist that the matter should be considered by the full C5 committee and IARU R1 EC.

During the last several VHF contests (Subregional 2 and 3, 50 MHz, CQWWVHF, Ukrainian VHF championship) there were many MO stations here in Ukraine.
Our opinion is that the total ban on the multi-operator class in the September and October VHF/UHF contests is the wrong and destructive idea.

Za MO kategoriju su se izjasnili još DL, OK, OM, i dr. manageri...
Danas bi IARU R1 VHF komisija trebala objaviti konačnu odluku. Do tada nam preostaje samo čekati.
Što smo mogli, učinili smo...
